The Story Behind "Oak Tree of Patience"
"Oak Tree of Patience" is more than a painting—it’s an early chapter of starting my artistic adventure. Inspired by the 400-year-old Angel Oak tree in South Carolina, I spent nearly a year trying to balance a daily life schedule while painting on the side to bring every curve and shadow of its ancient branches to life in oil. Rejecting the common opinions of the risks associated with pursuing art, I dedicated myself to creative expression. This tree, rooted through centuries, became a mirror of my own journey—steady growth through patience, detail, and devotion. Standing here now, I see this piece as a symbol of resilience, transformation, and the beauty that comes from trusting the process.
